Karl Elkins, LPC, ThM, MA, CSC, BCPCC, DAPA

• 25 years of counseling experience (17 licensed, ten pastoral)
• Instructor at College of Biblical Studies teaching marriage and family courses.
• Founder and President of Christway Counseling Center, P.C., specializing in marriage and family counseling
• Director of a Minirth-Meier New Life Clinic in Houston, Texas
• Master’s degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary
• Master’s degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University
• PhD in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University (not accredited in Texas)
• Completed internships and special studies (counseling and theological) with Dr. Josh McDowell, Dr. Norman Geisler, Dr. Larry Crabb, Dr. David Ferguson, and Dr. Bill Gothard
• Ordained and licensed minister
• Formerly on staff with Intimate Life Ministries
• Contributing author to Houston Chronicle “Christ and Culture” blog
• Married to Terry Elkins and has two grown children

• Graduated Cum Laude in Accounting from the University of Houston
   
• Formerly a corporate coach with Center for Relational Leadership and Intimate Life Ministries
   
• Gifted encourager offering practical wisdom in an active coaching practice
